Digital Product Design
Cutoutz is a campus social app built for college students in the US who want more than just a group chat a space to actually connect, do things together, and capture shared moments. I came in as a Digital Product Designer handling the full process: from early research and business strategy, all the way to prototype and hi-fi screens. The focus was on two core features Community Interaction and Shared Memories both designed around how students actually behave socially on campus, not just how we assume they do.

The Problem
College students have plenty of ways to chat — but not many ways to actually do things together. Cutoutz was built to bridge that gap: a campus social app where students can form communities around shared interests, join activities, and capture memories along the way. The challenge was designing an experience that feels natural for how Gen Z actually socializes — low friction, high context, and genuinely fun to use.
